- this is how I made Fattoush salad - it was very good!

Enjoy!

Yeah, I would be interested in a recipe for Fattoush salad. I've actually never had it. I love broccoli and cauliflower salad. I would also be interested in trying different types of potato salad. Also, a friend of mine makes really good green salads. She made a spinach salad that was very good the other day.

Too bad I deleted my previous topic of the day - had great review and recipe of Fattoush salad - I liked it a lot. If you are interested, I probably can find links for you!

What other salads do you like?

Thanks for the response. I may have to try that one. It's definitely quicker than mine.
In my recipe, I use bulghar wheat. I add olive oil and lemon juice. Then layer chopped scallions, tomatoes , cucumbers, parsley, and celery. Sprinkle salt on top and let it marinate for at least 24 hours. Then just toss it and serve. It's very good. I've also had it with mint, but I prefer it without.

Hi Matthew - which one do you use?

This is one of my versions:

I cover cracked barley with hot water, let it stand covered for about 15 min; then add chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, garlic, lemon juice, greens, a little bit of vegetable oil, salt, pepper, mix well - put in a fridge for an hour or so and then... eat!

I love tabbouleh !

Hi. Does anyone have any good recipes for tabbouleh? I have a recipe that I like, but would enjoy seeing some different recipes.
